Fellow Americans

Recently it has come to your attention that the US government has no regard for your right to own any firearm you please. Many of you fighting for your right to bear arms say that you are doing it so you are able to defend your other rights, but your government has been silently destroying your right to privacy for the last eleven years. The USA Patriot Act, signed on October 26, 2001 has given the US government the power to listen to every conversation you have if you are a suspected terrorist.

At this point you may be asking, "if you are a suspected terrorist what is wrong with that?" The list of things that can make you a suspected terrorist is very long, and it is very likely you have done at least one thing on it, even more likely you do something "suspicious" on a daily basis. All it takes is one call to put you under 24 hour surveillance. Go research it yourself, you owe it to yourself if you care about your rights.

We humbly ask you to join us in our fight for privacy, because we believe that the fourth amendment is just as important as the second and we hope you do too. If you are a responsible gun owner it is HIGHLY likely that you are already being watched. Trapwire, a new surveillance system seeks to take this one step further and put EVERYONE under surveillance. Anything you do could be construed as a precursor to a terrorist attack, giving the government even more power to illegally search you.

We stand in firm solidarity with you on the issue of gun control, that no government should have the power to tell you what you can and cannot possess, but we also need your help in fighting for the right to privacy. These are both major issues that we all need to work together on. Please join us on February 23, 2013 for the International Day of Privacy where we can stand together to defend the ENTIRE constitution.
